Surrey, B.C. - InTech Environmental Canada Corp., is pleased to announce BioPerc, a new breakthrough technology that which utilizes a unique chemical development process to replace the highly toxic solvent Perchloroethylene, used in dry-cleaning and other cleaning applications. BioPerc's breakthrough technologically advanced formulation emits no hazardous emissions, thereby reducing the users' carbon footprint and emissions, while improving safety, users exposure to toxins occupational health and safety of the workplace. BioPerc is a biodegradable, effective, alternative to the traditional toxic solvents Perchloroethylene.

Perchloroethylene is a chlorinated solvent used mainly in the dry cleaning industry whose persistence in the environment makes it a significant groundwater and air pollutant. In humans, PCE causes toxic effects in the liver, kidney, and central nervous system. It is suspected to cause harm to reproductive and developmental health and is a possible carcinogen. The major human exposure route is inhalation of contaminated air. "We are ready, we have the green solution and we are leading the way with Innovative technology" continued Pasin.
